NO REFUNDS, EXCHANGES OR TRANSFERS! Returned checks subject to a $15 charge.
All classes are ongoing. Drop-ins are welcome; students age 13 and up. There is no dress code for classes.

Fundamentals is recommended for students with little or no previous dance experience.
Beginning Ballet is recommended for students with 1 to 2 years of movement experience.
Intermediate Ballet is recommended for students with 2 or more years of ballet training.
Advanced Ballet is for students of an advanced and/or professional level.
Half hour/hour pointe classes are conducted at the discretion of the instructor. The hour-long class is equal to one class on the monthly class card. The half-hour class is equal to one-half of a class on the monthly class card.
Pilates: A group mat class suitable for all levels.
Weekend Workshops and Technique Labs: check our front page or call for current schedule.

There are no classes Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve or New Year’s Day. Please call to check the holiday schedules. During production, in May and December, some Beginning and Beginning/Intermediate classes are rescheduled.

How to sign in for a class

  1. Enter the studio to your right (Studio A) as you enter the Julia Morgan Annex.

  2. At the counter to your left, write your name on the appropriate class sign-in sheet in the class binder.

  3. Next to your name, check if you are paying for a single class or using your class card. If you are taking barre only, please note that.

  4. Place your payment (cash or check only – no credit cards accepted) or class card in the marked tray.

  5. If paying in cash and change is required, contact the desk aide on duty.

  6. BBT has a no-owe policy. Class payment must be made in advance before taking class. Thank you for your cooperation.

  7. During some rehearsal periods, class registration may take place upstairs in Studio B. Please look for signs on where to proceed to sign-in.
