BBT studio company + San francisco girls chorus

Full Series

Join BBT's Studio Company and the San Francisco Girls Chorus for an unforgettable evening intersecting visual art, dance, and music. Part of the UC Berkeley Art Museum Full Series on Saturday, February 8, 2020, Berkeley Ballet Theater and San Francisco Girls Chorus co-present excerpts from Rightfully Ours, a new evening-length collaboration inspired by the centennial of the Nineteenth Amendment, which gave women the right to vote. The work celebrates the legacy of those who fought for the Nineteenth Amendment, as well as all who came before and after them in the fight for equality, while also turning a lens to the intersectionality of gender inequity with other forms of discrimination that still persists today.

*Performance is free with museum admission
