Enabling dancers in the community to contribute to BBT's mission and participate in the organization's Adult Open Division
WORK EXCHANGE POSITIONS
Berkeley Ballet Theater is looking for Work Exchange receptionists to facilitate classes and studio rentals in exchange for free Adult Classes. BBT provides more than 35 Adult Classes per week to more than 1,200 dancers of all backgrounds.
Monday-Friday: 8:30am-1pm and 3:30pm-7:30pm
Saturday-Sunday: 8am-12pm and 12pm-4:30pm
For each hour worked, Work Exchange participants receive one free Adult Open Division Class (regardless of class length). Work Exchange participants also receive the Non-Profit/Artist discount on all Studio Rentals.
Qualified candidates will be able to:
Provide great customer service while greeting students as they enter the studios
Exhibit professionalism with a pleasant demeanor
Assist students as they sign into class using MindBody software
Perform basic janitorial and maintenance tasks, including sweeping floors, turning off and on heat, cleaning studios, etc.
No prior dance experience is necessary!
