The Nutcracker Bird Full Call and Theater Week Schedule

Please review dancer hair, makeup and costume requirements below:

Hair Requirements: Dancers are asked to attend all Technical and Dress Rehearsals with their hair performance ready

Makeup Requirements: Dancers are asked to attend all Dress Rehearsals with their makeup performance ready.

Theater Packing List: Please review the packing list and policies. As a reminder, Oakland Scottish Rite center can be cold, and dancers are encouraged to bring lots of layers (down jackets, heavy socks etc).

• Dancers are required to own a skin tone leotard with fabric straps (no silicone straps)

• Dancers will wear the BBT Uniform tights for all pointe pieces (with pancaked shoes to match)

• Dancers will wear the BBT Uniform skin tone flat shoes without tights for all non-pointe roles

Studio Company and Apprentice dancers are expected to arrive and depart from Oakland Scottish Rite on their own. If your dancer cannot travel unaccompanied, please email Executive Director, Ali Griffin (alitl@berkeleyballet.org)

Theater week rehearsals are very long. Please ensure you pack homework and plenty of food.

Studio Company / Apprentice Rehearsal Schedule

Dancers are asked to check the Rehearsal Schedule frequently. Dancers will be scheduled for rehearsals based on casting and their rehearsal schedule will be different from week to week.

If a dancer knows they will be absent for a rehearsal, please reach out to the BBT Office as soon as possible by filling out this Absence Notification Form.
