Dance Film Workshop: Youth Division Levels 2–3 (~Ages 10–13):

• Experience the artistry and challenge of participating in a dance film with this three week workshop. Dancers will take ballet, jazz, and contemporary technique classes and learn a short work that will be professionally filmed, edited, and made available for dancers to share with friends and family. As more and more dance is presented in film and television, learning the skills needed to participate in filming is an important part of today’s dancer education.

• Placement is required for BBT’s Youth Division programming. If you are new to BBT, please reach out to School Manager Jenna Marie at jennam@berkeleyballet.org to schedule a placement class for your dancer.
