The Nutcracker Bird Enrollment: Level 5a (Cactuses)

  • Saturday or Sunday Cast:

    • Youth Division Level 5a dancers participate as either a Saturday or Sunday cast dancer; this cast name refers to a dancer’s performance date: Saturday, 12/19/2026 or Sunday, 12/20/2026. Each dancer participates in two shows on their cast’s performance date. Please note that dancers’ rehearsal schedules may take place on any day of the week; please see schedules below.

  • Volunteer hours are asked of participating dancers' families, and volunteers are integral to the success of rehearsals and performances. If you haven’t heard from a volunteer organizer by November, please reach out.

  • Tuition: $325.00

Absences: Participating dancers are permitted 2 absence from their schedule of 7 rehearsals; Full Call and Theater Week rehearsals are mandatory for participation.

BBT Uniform, Costume Items, Hair, and Makeup are expected to be performance-ready for all Full Call, Technical, and Dress Rehearsals.

Performance Resources
Requirements: [Hairstyle Guide] [Makeup Guide] Costume:
  • BBT Uniform provided by dancer:
    1. Black Uniform Leotard and Black Bike Shorts OR White Uniform T-Shirt and Black Bike Shorts
    2. Uniform Shoes matching the dancer’s skin tone
  • Dancers do not wear tights; no underwear is worn under leotards. Dancers may not wear any jewelry or nail polish.
