The Nutcracker Bird Enrollment: Level 5 (Party Kids and Cactuses)

  • Youth Division Level 5 dancers participate as Party Kids and Cactuses.

  • Saturday and Sunday Cast:

    • Youth Division Level 5 dancers participate in both Saturday and Sunday casts; cast names refer to the performance dates: Saturday, 12/13/2025 and Sunday, 12/14/2025. Dancers participate in four shows total, two shows on each performance date: 1:00pm and 5:00pm

  • Volunteer hours are asked of participating dancers' families, and volunteers are integral to the success of rehearsals and performances. If you haven’t heard from a volunteer organizer by November, please reach out.

  • Locations:

    • BBT Studios: 1370 Tenth Street, Berkeley

    • Oakland Scottish Rite Center: 1547 Lakeside Drive, Oakland

  • Tuition: $400.00

Youth Division Level 5: Party Kids and Cactuses
Absences: Participating dancers are permitted two absences from their schedule of ten rehearsals and first Full Call (11/22/2025); 12/06/2025 Full Call and Theater Week rehearsals are mandatory for participation.

Performance Resources
Requirements: [Hairstyle Guide] [Makeup Guide] Costume:
  • BBT Uniform provided by dancer:
    1. Black Uniform Leotard and Black Bike Shorts OR White Uniform T-Shirt and Black Bike Shorts
    2. Uniform Shoes matching the dancer’s skin tone
    3. Addition provided by dancer: Leotard that matches the dancer’s skin tone (without silicone straps) to wear under costumes
  • Skin tone dance bra (Optionally provided by dancer if needed/costume allows)
  • Dancers do not wear tights; no underwear is worn under leotards. Dancers may not wear any jewelry or nail polish.
